Today was my daughters Baby Shower.. It was lovely! I tried staying out of the way and didnt get too many photos. I took a few but didnt get any that were good, and this one of Lily wasn't good but i like it... thats all that counts..

I woke up this morning expecting no snow ...Weather forecasters are notoriously wrong on snow amounts... And found about 2 inches of snow over the ice from last night...

Well, we have a winter storm warning out today...

Its starting out as Rain... Which will move to Freezing rain (there's slush on the rain you see in the background) and then snow... Only 5 to 8 inches tonight...

How depressing... But it is still Winter ...

Today, Katie let me take this picture... a sillouhette or however you spell it. I like how it shows her pregnancy and the table light behind her is raying out from her tummy like a halo. I don't think her son will be that angelic tho ...

Well, we got a new tv last night.. its huge! It will be fun :) and for those who will ask... its a Magnavox and no i dont know what model it is .. and its 52". For those who wanna know .. the Food channel comes in AWESOME! Its amazing how many ads on TV are in hd... wish all the channels were..

Today I planned on going outside after dark to see if I could take a night picture on the sidewalk outside the outer door, as I stepped outside along came these two police cars... No sirens just lights... They turned around immediately.. I was shaking thinking they were coming for me while I photographed them!!


Was shaking cause I saw them coming... so I know its not clear ... but they ran into the building that you cant see right next to where they are

The cat brought me her favorite toy while I was sitting there thinking about what to take for my PAD. So I figured why not. It has a rattle in it so you can hear her walking about with it, and then it makes a huge noise while she tosses it about.
After I photographed it, she pawed at the light box so I gave it back to her ...

We drove around Saint-Sauveur lookign for some place to park adn take pictures of the beautiful area... but other than a ski resort parking lot at teh bototm of a mountian there was very few places to stop. These trees were in an area that we drove to and parked in the middle of someones driveway.

The Laurentian Mountains are gorgeous :)

Well.. We drove to Saint-Sauveur, Quebec on Friday... 6.5 hours plus we stopped for a couple hours at friends house... AFTER we got up at 4:30 and I went to work with hubby until 10 am.

I looked in the mirror and saw a sun pillar, but a cop car was ahead of us, going 10km over the speed limit... So we couldn't well p[ass him so I could take off my seat belt, so I tried to take a picture using the mirror... But you can't see the pillarwell, only the traffic and sun...

I took the photos and set up what I wanted to say as I had no access to a computer that I could upload my photos to for the weekend.

I guess its better than when a scowling Paul Sr and the rest of OCC were staring in the window from up there...
They shoud make light switches so you could turn it off...

Its a dark dreary day here in Toronto...I HAD to go out to take a photo for developing (i guess thats what you call it - they're printing it for me) to Pickto and these three pics are from the Distillery District. All in the city.

Today is the anniversary of my mom's death... I miss her a lot still... I probably always will.

I learned today that pearls, crystal and silver aren't the easiest to take photographs of.....

I'm making a necklace out of them and possibly a double stranded necklace. I also haven't decided what clasp to use. The two choices are a filigree square and a rose magnetic clasp. I'll work more on taking a better picture of them today ..
