from and in Toronto's Distillery District

Its a dark dreary day here in Toronto...I HAD to go out to take a photo for developing (i guess thats what you call it - they're printing it for me) to Pickto and these three pics are from the Distillery District. All in the city.

Today is the anniversary of my mom's death... I miss her a lot still... I probably always will.

I feel like that's how it is all winter here - gray and gross. That old truck is cool though.

Sorry to hear about your mom. :/

(hug) I know the feeling di. However, I love the pic of the two trucks, awesome the contrast between the old trucks and the skyscrapers behind them is awesome!

No comments yet? Oh dear!
I have no clue what the first pic is of... it's almost like Konador's abstract guessing game. But, I love the red hues and warm feeling.

I like the way the middle picture has the building going all the way to the top, but the clouds obscure the top of the building further away. It's a nice soft contrast to the rest of the picture.

Great start to the project! :)

I like the one with the fog. Creates a great ambiance. I think just tiny bump in saturation would make the colours a littel more vibrant...

Hi Di, the truck is a wonderful shot, and I like the shot of the lamp on it. Color sets a somber mood that reflects your day.

What a sweet shot there with the truck! I love things like that. Great eye and great captures!

The truck shot is definitely my favorite of the three.. Very dynamic, it's as if the truck is alive, yet suffering.

You feel for it.

Love the colours. Needed a couple of looks to figure out that the top one was the headlight.

Nice job with the truck! As someone mentioned, a nice contrast between vintage and modern.

Today must be a very sad day for you. I'm thinking of you.
